Scope
The Little Caribbean holiday market takes place in the caribBEING House, a moveable shipping container with hip bespoke interiors, serving the purpose of the multifaceted organization that promotes Caribbean arts and culture.

For a lot of people, this market and the caribBEING House are their first experience with the organization.

Concept
Following the growing popularity of various subscription boxes, I started pitching the idea to create a similar, one-off box for the holiday season. Grabbing the attention from people in its new location on Parkside Plaza, and intoducing this one-size-fits-all gift.

The main idea was for the box to take shape as the caribBEING House itself, carrying its charisma, but also doubling down on the "container" form, delivering goods from another place.

As soon the team selected the right vendors, the custom boxes were being produced but the time window was so narrow I shot an advance editorial still life of the products in a mockup box to have content.

Second Edition
In caribBEING's spirit of collaboration, a second edition of the box was created in conjunction with the multifaceted partnership with the Prospect Park Alliance during summer 2019, including participation on the park's edition of the Smorgasburg food market.

Love Up Yourself
In the form of a spin-off, upon partnering with The Sill we created another box, this time geared towards home and self-care. With a more traditional brown box look, I took the tropical leaf pattern from the new rusted iron doors of the caribBEING House to have branding on the packaging, increase brand recognition and provide excitement.
